Hey, hey, hey, Comfydants! 

I hope you're all having an amazing day so far! I am, and I have lots to talk about today, so let's just get down to business and see how long this post becomes by the end! 

First up, I have the amazing news to announce (kind of since it's already been teased) that starting in a few months we're going to be starting a Cindered Wolf webcomic series! The webcomics won't be adaptations of the main story in comic form, but instead will focus on expanding the lore of the world, maybe showing some back story that gets hinted at in the main story without being fully explored or just telling some short 2-3 chapter stories that fit better with an emphasis on art over writing. The artist for this webcomic series will be the fantastic Kris Nguyen who you probably know from a ton of past artwork for not only the channel, but also many past Comfydant projects and their own webcomics already featuring a chapter 1 adaptation of Legatus 505 and short stories based off of the Enshrouding/Archivist 404 story and a what-if scenario in which Legatus from the future came back to meet a younger version of himself .All in all it just happened to come at the perfect time that Kris put out a tweet joking that they wished they could combine their love of VTubers and making Webtoons a few months ago while I was already thinking about how to expand the world of The Cindered Wolf beyond what I myself bring to the table.

Since this month is basically an advertisement for Kris starting the webcomic in a few months, we've worked together to create a beautiful membership wallpaper which shows off all of The Feral Fuckwits in their prime as well as The Cindered Wolf himself in the current year. One of the biggest things you'll probably notice about this image is that it also introduces us to the idea of what Shepherd would have looked like as a beautiful youth while he traveled with the FF. (I told you all, he was once regarded as one of the most beautiful men in all the land.)

You can also consider this a tease into what our next outfit is going to look like. I'll probably be working on The Cindered Wolf for a long time in the future, I'm investing a lot of resources into bringing together teams of people to help bring the story to life as well as I can and so I decided to invest my next two outfit tickets into the story too. So, the next model we get, somewhere down the line in 2025 will be one that uses the Legatus body type (young twink) but depicts Shepherd himself at around age 19. The feeling I'm hoping to capture with this one is a Griffith/Alucard kind of look. Someone who you look at and instantly think "holy shit, WIFE!" but then start to notice they could probably kill you as easily as blink. They finally gave me the go-ahead to have floofy and wavy hair that I've always dreamed of!!! The only problem that I've run into is that recently Nijisanji has been very busy with providing a lot of opportunities to a lot of livers when it comes to outfits and other events so although they've already started planning on the outfit, it could be a long time before this sees the light of day. It doesn't help that it's also the first outfit in EN to use double the usual amount of features on a single release. It will have a few bells and whistles that make it a bit unique depending on how long it takes to release. If it were released today it would be the first male corpo to use a certain type of rigging (movement) and the first corpo at all to use a certain feature that most would consider too mature for their branding. All of that to say, I'm very VERY excited for that next model and the fun features it will bring and while the actual model may turn out very different from the teaser design Kris has come up with, her design has captured the exact kind of beautiful but deadly look I was hoping to bring to it.

Next up! I've released the first Cindered Wolf Character Symphony! Feel free to listen to Lion's three OSTs as they link together in Lion's Pride! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlnNB.... We're going to be trying to release one of these symphonies roughly every month so that by mid-Autumn, hopefully we'll be fully done with Legatus 505, have a symphony for each main character in Cindered Wolf and be working on the story itself, webcomic, rest of the OST and so much else! Me and Sakuraba_Mu have one more fun character to share with you all in a little while, but I'll let that come out whenever it comes out and just say that I'm also still so shocked at how perfectly this world is all coming together.   

Before we get into the sappy stuff, let me just throw out the two more surprises that I've prepared for this month! The first is the Soothing Voice Pack I was supposed to release a few months ago. It's a pretty simple storyline in which you just meet The Shepherd in a cave close to the forest and he helps you dry off and have a warm night on the road. There isn't anything too bad in it, they just didn't allow it because of some humming (even though its my own song) and a few swear words lmao. For a while I've been wanting to talk about what I want to do with future outfit plans, since I did a poll a few months back about what kind of outfits you'd like to see. Not too much of a spoiler, but I do want to say that the next thing I'll be working on after the younger (Legatus face) Shepherd model will be either a shota or shounen model that can work essentially for all 3 of my "characters" at their own childhoods. I've been kind of hinting at this a lot recently when joking about if I decide to get smaller rather than bigger in the future and confirming that any time a new model entirely is made that I'll make sure to wait as long as it takes to make sure that LAM stays the Mama for each of my different aged forms. I'm still debating for now about whether I'd want to make the younger version of myself look around 5-6 or 9-10 years old. I definitely want him to be small and cute, but not sure just how smol I want for now lmao. The only thing I will share about the plan for this one, is I'll probably start him off with a very simple, short but not too short hairstyle that won't get in the way of artists basically being able to create whatever kind of wigs/outfits they want to dress him up in. It was something that I thought about when it came to the shorter hair for Archivist and something I'll be considering in general in the future. Basically I just want to make sure each model has one simple and short out of the way hairstyle/clothing choice that don't have long flowing hair or big high collars to work around xD. As said above however, I've been warned that the young shepherd outfit will likely take a long time as is and it's used 2 tickets in one go, meaning although LAM already loves the idea of making a shota/shounen Fuuchan they can't get started until the lucky draw chooses me and even then it could be a LONG LOOOOOOOOONG while before we hear anything back about that. So that's all the spoilers you get until we actually start teasing and preparing for a debut someday in 2025... if it could work out for 6/6 that would be perfect... but we'll see what happens. Either way, I'd love to hear your thoughts again in the comments section below this post. Do we prefer tiny shota Fuu (Naru Kotoishi or Damian Desmond size) or just smol shounen Fuu? (Killua Zoldyck or Norman from Promised Neverland size) Cynets or human skin? My ideal would be to have a cyborg version and human flesh version with toggles that could also change the hair and eyes brown from silver to kind of show the progression of him becoming a cyborg... but that's a LOT so it would have to be more than 1 ticket and I'd need crazy luck to get more than 1 at once again.

Normally this would be where the sappy part would begin, but with how long this post is already, I think we should probably cut it short. I've been looking forward to posting this membership post for a while since last month's was really short and all kind of leading up to the preparation for The Shepherd's debut. Honestly, I kind of burnt myself out a little working so hard on everything leading up the debut to the point that I've barely been keeping up with offline work recently. So, I certainly don't want to add to any more of that kind of feeling, but I am sorry if I've seemed drained or out of sorts since the debut. I'll probably keep going for another week or two then take a week or two off to properly get my mindset back into where it should be if I haven't snapped out of it by then. I've been letting way too many things that are out of my control influence me recently, and it just isn't helpful. So, while the stress will still be there going forward, I'll try to not let it get to how much the streams always cheer me up and just spending time with the Comfydants always feels like such a warming and healing experience. Worst case scenario, I'll be completely over it if/when I take a break if I do end up still needing one. 

But, yeah, I just wanted to say that proper apology for how out of it I've been, combined with the fact that we should be all guns-a-blazing with the recent Shepherd debut. I said it multiple times over the last few months, but I'm personally seeing 2024 as a year in which I do whatever I can to say thank you to all the Comfydants who have stuck with me these past 2 years. I myself have grown and developed so much as a person over this time and I know our community has similarly come a long way together. Through to the end of 2024 I want to make sure I finish some of the most important things we've started on the channel such as Legatus 505, but I never want to stop telling my silly little stories and seeing them come to life through the hands of much more accomplished creators. So, I hope you like the new forest home, intro animation, outro animation, transitions, music, etc, lmao. That's me basically tapped out for this year on surprises, so let's hope that 2025 will bring more pleasant surprises, wherever we Comfydants, children of the twilight, or just this community end up in the future. (by the way, your sonas don't need to be children! Sheppy just named the first 4 that because they are literally children, haha. just wanted to clear that up for the people who have been asking. The first 4 were kids, so that's what he took to calling them. They're basically Comfydants stand-in in The Cindered Wolf but that doesn't mean you have to have child versions of your Comfysonas, lol.) Thank you for always giving me a wonderful place to call home, and I hope you can enjoy it as a place to find respite and community away from the world whenever you need it.
